Arranged in three groups: I. Vocal scores (36). II. Promptbooks (11 in 14 vols.). III. Dialogue parts (6). The vocal scores are in English, published by Ditson, Boston, and Pond, New York. Both editions were printed from the same plates (no. M. 6119) and carry the copyright date of 1884. The promptbooks are in English. Two are printed, with manuscript pages interleaved, one of which is marked "as now played at the avenue" and bears the name of John A. McCaull. Two books are manuscript, one of which is in four volumes. Seven books are typed. One is marked "old version" and two "new version." Two are unbound, consisting of loose leaves contained in a folder. The dialogue parts are manuscript, in lined ledgers.
